• Flysigns Aerial Advertising has operated in the Tampa & St. Petersburg, Florida area for 18 years. We have had successful banner towing and skywriting operations located at Albert Whitted Airport since 1994. We also can fly banners in Clearwater, Naples, Sarasota and Lakeland from this location. We have 3 aircraft for both airplane banners and or skywriting. Helicopter banners up to 15,000 square feet are also available upon request in these area. LED lighted night signs can be available from one hour after sunset till one hour before sunrise with a two week notice. We can tow your airplane banners from sunrise till sunset, but we have to drop the banner by sunset at the airport. All aerial banners are flown at 1,000 feet in the downtown Tampa & St. Petersburg, Florida area and at 500 feet over the bay, beaches and beach events. Custom aerial billboards are available up to 35 feet tall by 110 feet long in out Tampa & St. Petersburg location. We always fly a 7 foot tall aerial banner letter system for all flights to maximize readability. All billboard and banner production is done in house in one of our production facilities. Flysigns.com offers both hand painted and computer printed aerial billboards, and prices range from $1.00-$2.00 per square foot on average. Billboard life expectancy is approximately 150-200 flight hours.
• Acceptable weather conditions for flying our aerial banners in the Tampa & St. Pete, Florida area are as follows: Visibility of 4-5 miles plus. Fog, marine layer, or low cloud ceilings of 2,000 feet or higher. Surface winds not exceeding 25-30mph.
• Suitability for skywriting are as follows: Less than 25-30% solid cloud cover. Winds aloft not exceeding 30-35mph at 10,000+ feet.
